Seven Indian specialists and an Afghan national working for a power plant in northern Baghlan area of Afghanistan were grabbed on Sunday, authorities said.
Zabihullah Shuja, representative for Baghlan police, said the specialists were making a trip to an administration run control station in a minibus when obscure shooters kidnapped them and their Afghan driver.
Two authorities at the Indian government office in Kabul affirmed the capturing of the designers, all working for the Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) that works control producing stations.
A senior Indian international safe haven official said more than 150 Indian specialists and specialized specialists are presently working crosswise over Afghanistan on huge foundation ventures.
